By accessing or using the Neurosyl website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use our platform.

Neurosyl provides a platform connecting individuals with registered psychotherapists, psychologists, and social workers for virtual therapy sessions conducted via secure video conferencing.

Our services are available to residents of Ontario, Canada. All psychotherapists listed on our platform are licensed and registered with their respective regulatory colleges in Ontario.

Neurosyl is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.

To use our services, you must be at least 16 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if you are between 13 and 15 years of age.

By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

The therapeutic relationship is solely between you and your psychotherapist. Neurosyl acts as a platform facilitating this connection and is not a party to the therapeutic relationship.

Psychotherapists listed on Neurosyl are independent practitioners, not employees of Neurosyl. Each psychotherapist is responsible for their own professional conduct and adherence to their regulatory college's standards of practice.

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

Session bookings are confirmed upon receipt of your intake form and psychotherapist matching. Specific appointment times are arranged directly with your psychotherapist.

We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee at the psychotherapist's discretion.

Neurosyl reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions in the event of technical difficulties, psychotherapist unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Session fees are set by individual psychotherapists and are disclosed prior to your first session. Fees are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. We accept major credit cards and e-transfer.

Neurosyl provides official receipts for all sessions. Reimbursement through extended health benefits is the client's responsibility. We do not bill insurance directly.

Sliding scale fees are available on a limited basis. Please indicate financial need in your intake form.

All information shared in therapy sessions is confidential. Psychotherapists are bound by their professional and ethical obligations to maintain client confidentiality.

There are limited exceptions to confidentiality required by law, including: risk of serious harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable person, or a court order requiring disclosure. Your psychotherapist will explain these limits at the start of your first session.

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Virtual sessions are conducted over a secure, encrypted video platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have a suitable device, internet connection, and private space for sessions.

Neurosyl is not responsible for technical difficulties arising from your internet connection, device, or third-party software. Sessions interrupted by technical issues on the client's end may still be charged.

Recording of sessions by either party is strictly prohibited without the explicit written consent of all parties.

All content on the Neurosyl website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Neurosyl or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our express written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neurosyl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Neurosyl in the three months preceding the claim.

We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
